Mission

The mission is to promote the idea of social responsibility in all spheres of public life, the promotion of socially responsible tourism in the regions, convergence regions and the formation of maturity of local communities.

The main objectives of responsible tourism:

  • Improving the lives of people in visited territories (making people’s lives visited on the better territories, and these territories even more convenient to visit). Etc.
  • The combination of the pleasure of travelling with a real contribution to sustainable development of the visited areas.
  • Creation of prerequisites or conditions for sustainable development of territories

Responsible tourism is a practical solution of specific tasks related to land improvement by public works, and sometimes a prerequisite for sustainable development (sustainability) of the region. The best practices of responsible tourism give the region the opportunity to gain more foothold and growth.

The types of responsible tourism:

  • Environmental – contributes to the protection of the environment and preservation of the welfare of the local population, different from nature tourism by the presence of commitments to environmental protection and regional development.
  • Volunteer – the volunteer carries out the mission in support of responsible tourism objects, especially on objects and territories that are studied by scientists or other experts
  • Religious – combines religious values with natural, cultural and historical heritage of the region and contributes to making labour contribution to the improvement of life in temples and monasteries
  • Fair – to equalize differences of the region, the adjustment of the financial terms of participation in projects of different regions,
  • Solidarity – attracts the local population at different stages of the formation of a tourism project, combines them into a regional tourism and other community, encourages respect for the individual, the nature and culture of the region
  • Social – aimed at providing access to tourism everyone, including vulnerable people. For example, in France, these tasks are accomplished by large international organizations: the national Union of Tourism Associations (UNAT), the national Association vouchers (ANCV), the international Association of Social Tourism (BITS).
  • Sustainable – improves directly supports economic, environmental, socio-cultural welfare of the region through payments of profits from the product (possible gifts) on the optimization of resource or technological base of services provided (or increase jobs, or local taxes).
